A message from TMC's First Vice Chair

Training and Motivation Center is an organization that was built on integrity, pride in our community, passion and inspiration. I stand behind TMC’s values and goals and as the first elected Vice Chair for TMC, I am proud to hold this title. I am excited to utilize my skills in leadership, organization, event planning, public speaking, and strategic development to help pave a way for TMC to be the go to foundation you think of when a boy or young man is in need. We aim to become a one-stop shop where our male youth can come to receive a dynamic array of services and support.

TMC strives to be a safe space where boys can receive tutoring, mentoring from relatable and successful men, financial literacy courses, exposure to the job force, counseling, mental health support, kindness and guidance.

I also hope to use my project management experience to bring a strategic, organized and well thought out plan to create programs, generate funding and obtain a space that is a home for our programs, but that can also double as a fundraising source. My personal goal for this year is to learn as much as possible from workshops, research and industry professionals so I can be knowledgeable and successful in my role as VP. I also plan to expand our communication and outreach through social media, and personal networking. I hope to assist with planning and executing several fundraising events this year and work with our board to expand our reach. I am looking forward to my first year in this role, I expect there to be challenges but with the support of our experienced board and their diverse collection of skills, we will be able to face them head on I and cannot wait to see TMC’s growth.
