TMC was founded in 2013 by cousins, Torrence Conaway and Timothy Conaway as an idea over a family dinner.
Their first event was held at the New Britain Senior Center where they provided free meals to more than 75 families. Over the years, TMC has produced a number of successful community events while building strong partnerships and unprecedented outcomes.
With Torrence’s finance, business management and leadership expertise and Tim’s youth development, entrepreneurial and re-entry expertise; the pair decided the best way to prepare and empower the next generation is to provide financial literacy and business skills to at risk males living in low income cities.
Together, Torrence and Tim have over 30 years of professional experience providing mentorship and guidance to youth. Their goal is to continue to educate and empower youth by preparing them for work and the real world.
